Kelly Ann Walker’s life has been defined by faith, service, and hard work.

Born in New York, Kelly moved with her family to Florida in 2005. The only daughter among five siblings, she grew up in Manatee County raising chickens, ducks, cows, and horses. From gathering eggs and hauling hay to comforting sick animals late at night, Kelly learned early the meaning of discipline, responsibility, and resilience.

From her mother, a former law enforcement officer, she gained service and integrity. From her father, who built their family home by hand, she learned grit and resourcefulness. Raised Catholic, Kelly’s faith has carried her through personal tragedy and continues to anchor her strength, resilience, and conviction.

At Lakewood Ranch High School, she was active in FFA, JROTC, and the women’s varsity flag football team. She grew up riding horses and showing cattle, competing in livestock judging, and stepping into leadership roles that prepared her for the future.

Kelly went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and her MBA from Stetson University. She has firsthand experience in policy, legislation, and governance, serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressman Greg Steube (FL-17) and Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-16), as well as working on Republican campaigns to advance conservative causes.

Back home, Kelly serves as Secretary of the Sarasota-Manatee Young Republicans and sits on the board of the Central Florida Warriors Hockey, a nonprofit supporting disabled veterans. She remains deeply connected to her community, working alongside veterans, families, small businesses, and Florida’s farmers to defend conservative values.
